From the very beginning, Mary and Quinton wanted a small, intimate wedding where they could relax and celebrate their nuptials with friends. I think they accomplished their goal perfectly. Mary and Quinton, it was an honor to photograph your very special day. Congratulations!
It’s no secret it has been raining… A LOT around here. Somehow, I’ve gotten really lucky the past few weddings, and the rain has cleared out just enough to allow us to get outside for some pictures. That was the case with Will and Cozy’s wedding. I am SO grateful the weather cooperated and allowed us to get some gorgeous shots! I am SO happy for this sweet couple! Cozy and Will, it was an honor to be able to work with you!
In just an hour at their engagement session, I was able to see what makes Missy and Mitchell such an incredible couple. It is obvious they know how to have fun together and not take life too seriously. They are so obviously in love, but such good friends at the same time. Their wedding was no different. The two were both so laid back, and so happy to be getting married. When I told Mitchell how beautiful Missy looked, the first thing he said was “Yes. I know. I am marrying up” while laughing and rolling his eyes at the same time. They both seem to realize how lucky they are. It is an absolute honor to be able to photograph such a special day in the lives of a couple who is just starting their adventure together.
Congratulations, Missy and Mitchell!
Sarah and Jordan didn’t let a rainy Saturday ruin their wedding day. I’ve photographed many weddings, but the sense of community and closeness of this wedding was something I will never forget. Thank you, Sarah and Jordan, for allowing us to be a part of such a special day!!
When Karissa and I became friends a few years ago, I had no idea how much of an impact she would make on our household. Over the years, my kids have grown to love Karissa, and actually believe she is a part of our family. She shares in our holidays and our big occasions around here. She has been on trips with us and has slept in our home. Karissa and I have stayed up late cracking up and talking MANY a nights. I have cried with her during her break-ups, and cried with her during the exciting moments in her life… mainly when I knew she had met “THE ONE.”
When Andy started calling Karissa and talking to her, I remember Zach encouraging her to at least take the phone calls and see what he had to say. Zach’s advice to her was you never know what might happen. And that’s exactly what happened. It took Karissa no time at all before she realized her life had changed forever. It’s been a whirlwind romance, but one that I am SO excited to have been able to witness and watch unfold. It is obvious Andy is so perfect for Karissa. He knows exactly how to handle her, and is obviously so in love with her.
Karissa, as you and Andy move forward in marriage, I will pray that you guys will continue to put each other first, love each other unconditionally, chase Christ with all your hearts, pursue each other, and remember to laugh. A LOT.
I love you so much and there are no words to tell you how happy I am for you both.
